Microchipping weekend was a success!

Microchipping weekend was a success!

We had our first cat microchipping event here at the centre in early April and it was a huge success! The event was kept to cats only due to the change in the law that is coming into force this June, whereby cat owners require to have their cats chipped. We are pleased that we were able to get lots of local cats chipped and registered and give their owners peace of mind for when these changes come into force.

Microchipping your cat becomes a legal requirement in June this year - are you ready?

Microchipping your cat becomes a legal requirement in June this year - are you ready?

This was welcome news for rescues like ourselves as it hopefully means that we will be able to reunite lots of stray cats with their owners going forward. Are your cats chipped and ready for this change in legislation?
